Philadelphia Phillies
PhilliesAs always, I cannot speak highly enough about you guys. Both from an entertainment standpoint, as well as your willingness to make our events a success. Case in point, your ability to stick out our rain delay past the scheduled time. We always receive rave reviews about your show!

Simon Malls
Lehigh Vally MallI just wanted to pass along a great lead for kid's events at your malls, if you're looking for a unique program. This week, we have a Philadelphia-based science company called Wondergy in the mall for three days. They're doing programs at 11am, 1pm and 3pm through the end of this week, and each day has a different theme (yesterday was Cool Science, where the kids learned how liquid nitrogen can be used to make their own ice cream). We pre-registered roughly between 50-60 kids per session over all three days, but yesterday we had a lot of afternoon walkups. The kids loved the program, and we had a great response from happy parents who plan on coming back for the rest of the shows. You can learn more about the company at www.wondergy.com. They have been extremely pleasant to work with in planning the events, and I would highly recommend them to any other mall.

VGXPO: America's VideoGame Expo
VGXPOThe science of video games; what a cool idea! You reached our target audience perfectly. This is not just kids stuff. Your giant Laser projected Asteroids game attracted a consistent crowd, and could be seen throughout the exhibit hall. I was amazed by guests' interest in the educational side of things. Kids, Adults, and even teens and 20-somethings were showing off their skills with spinning and color mixing, teaching each other how different demos worked, and asking lots of questions about the science of it all.

Communicate! The Science of Satellite Communication
Lockheed MartinMy daughter and I saw two of your shows at the recent Young Minds At Work program at Lockheed Martin in Newtown. We both loved it. I'm an electrical engineer, and well versed in the subjects I saw you explaining, but I thoroughly enjoyed your demonstrations all the same. And, I can appreciate the difficulty of making these topics engaging and comprehensible for children without sacrificing accuracy, and you guys have done a great job of it. Einstein said "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not one bit simpler," and you were obviously listening. You have succeeded in taking complex concepts and bringing them down without dumbing them down, and that is an admirable achievement.

School and Early Childhood

Camden Public Schools
Camden School BoardThank you for putting science into language and activities to which the students could relate. Even our ‘finicky’ staff members were very complimentary! It was amazing to watch students’ complete involvement in the hands on activities. Many normally are either too cool to participate or too determined to misbehave to last through the programs. This is absolutely due to the activities you chose, the directions you gave, and the explanations you gave of the scientific principal. Thank you so much for bringing this wonderful program to our school.

Bright Horizons Family Solutions
Bright HorizonsMy childcare center has been amazed with the exciting presentations that Wondergy has designed for us. As far as trainings, the teachers always gain new and innovative science ideas to implement in their classrooms. The teachers seem to be renewed with an increased energy and passion for fun science activities to share with the children. The children love the “hands on” and emergent approach that Wondergy uses. Wondergy is a fabulous enrichment and training resource that every center director should know about. It takes learning about science to all new levels. I highly recommend it for summer camp programs or as a faculty professional workshop.

Some kind words from past participants

Boy Scout Blue and Gold Banquet
Wow Ken,
What a terrific response! Your show was even better than promised and you were a delight to work with. The parents were thrilled and many asked for your card; the boys...I don't even need to say. We all learned a lot about state of matter and beyond. One mom is a head librarian for Trenton and promised to pass on your booklet. Hopefully the banquet will get you more shows; you deserve it. Anyway, thanks for staying after to answer questions and allow individual time for the kids and grownups. Even the clean-up crew was fascinated. Take care and best wishes.

Thanks again,
Sandy ________

School Assembly
Our PTO meeting was tonight and your assembly received so many compliments. The parents said that their children are STILL talking about it. Our principal said that the feedback from the teachers was excellent - and 4 teachers were at our meeting tonight who also spoke about how impressed they were. The birds were a HUGE hit as well!
Thank you both so much for such a wonderful program. I passed along your information to the next Events Planner and I fully expect that you will hear from Parkway School again.
Nancy Rinehimer, Parkway School PTO

That was the coolest assembly I've ever seen!
Brenna Brenner - 6th grader, Highcliff Elementary

This was the first assembly all year that kept my students' attention.
We may skip our classtime and sneak in for the afternoon assembly too.

Library Programs
You were at the library summer before last when you did the CoolScience show. The kids and parents are still asking when you'll be coming back.
One of the dads came in recently and said, "When are you guys going to have that science guy back? The boys loved it." And I said "I'm going to try to get them here this summer." They really remembered you guys from a year ago.

I just wanted to share my thoughts on a fabulous program we recently had at the North Arlington Public Library. We ended our summer reading program with a "Wondergy" science program presented by owner Ken Fink. He did a "cool science" program for kids of all ages. We had at least 40 kids and just as many parents at our event, and every single person was intrigued by his program. The program lasted an hour and a half which might typically bore most people, but his presentation was an exceptional mix of science and entertainment. The ice cream that was made from fresh cream, milk and liquid nitrogen was an excellent way to provide refreshments to a hungry audience! Ken was extremely accommodating with his schedule and I would highly recommend him for events throughout the year.
Maria Worth, Children's Department, North Arlington Public Library

Ken Fink engaged the enthusiastic crowd of 50+ kids from the very beginning. After the first couple of minutes, they were squealing with delight and participating fully. We aimed the program at 4th grade and up, but the adults who stayed, and the younger siblings, seemed to love it as well. Ken has all kinds of unique ways to demonstrate how matter changes form and the ice cream finale was great fun.
We are hoping to have him back to do more programs. More info on their web site. Highly recommended.
Pam Brooks, Head of Adult Services & Reference, Scotch Plains Public Library

Jewish Camp - Kosher
Wondergy is a great entertainment for kids of all age. It is educational and a lot of fun. I therefore recommend it for a camp activity or for a school program. They do really really cool experiments and the kids will be enthrolled by this scientific show. They even made ice cream with us! Since we are a Jewish religious crowd, they catered to our exact needs and made sure the ice cream was kosher and cholov yisroel. These guys really are PHENOMENAL!!!!
Thanks again!

4-H Science Day, opening Program
Hi Ken,
Feel free to quote our name/organization. As I stated on the phone, we were truly impressed with your ability to convey scientific information to children, grades 1-6 in a fun, hands-on way. The youth (and adults) were completely mesmerized for an entire hour. Being able to hold the attention of such young children for such a long period of time is a testimony to your teaching abilities. Your program set the tone for our Science-sational day. You peaked everyone's enthusiasm and excitment for science. Parents and children talked about the laser show all day. We look forward to having you return as our opening program for 2005 4-H Science-sational day.
Lisa Rothenburger, County 4-H Agent

Birthday Party
Dear Ken,
We wanted to thank you again for giving Ilana a GREAT birthday. She and her friends had an amazing time. They all left excited and energized (and it wasn’t just the sugar rush!). You’re dynamic style and approach to the kids kept them riveted. It was a wonderful party – one that Ilana will never forget, I’m sure. I will definitely be talking about your programs to the Principal (Selma Roffman) of Perelman Jewish Day School, my children’s school where I am President of the PTO. Perhaps we will be able to arrange an assembly for the children sometime this year.  Let’s plan on talking more about this. Again, our heartfelt thanks for memorable day. We wish you all the best for a healthy, happy and peaceful New Year.
Warmly, Elise and Larry McAfoos Family

Birthday Party - KOSHER

Hi Ken,

Thank you for the creating an amazing party for my son's 9th birthday.  It was truly a memorable experience.  I also greatly appreciated the extra time you took to understand and accommodate all of the special dietary needs (like kosher and milk allergies) of our young guests so that everyone could enjoy the delicious ice cream! All of the kids, both boys and girls, enjoyed themselves tremendously and for days after the party, were talking about what a great time they had.  The best part was that they didn't even realize how much they were learning in between checking out the fog of liquid nitrogen and making ice cream.  Regards,

DB and GB
