As anyone who has had to take a statistics course can attest, graphs (and by extension Excel) can be used to justify just about anything. Statistics can be twisted and skewed to show just about any desired result. Of course, if you want to give honest statistics, there are measurements that can be used to show how significant any given result really is. Those trying to lie through statistics, of course, don’t want you to know the “result” is insignificant and not real.
